90.3 WRST-FM Scores Big at WBA Awards

Students at 90.3 WRST-FM won four first-place awards in the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association’s Student Awards for Excellence.

 WRST swept the statewide competition in the “Air Check” category. The Air Check category is equivalent to the best radio on-air talent. Students also won first place for “Episodic Entertainment Program,” “Special Programming” and “Long Form Production.”

 Students will receive their awards during the WBA Student Seminar and Job Fair on March 5 in Madison.

 WRST-FM is the UW Oshkosh campus radio station and part of the broadcast facilities within the Radio-TV-Film department.
