Station manager
Teagan Tolley is the current Station Manager! Teagan is majoring in Radio-TV-Film, and completing certificates in Spanish and ASL. Her goals for this year are to create a good sense of community, to continue doing great things for the station, and be a helping hand to others no matter who you are or where you are on your path. Teagan enjoys art, reading, learning languages, watching movies, and listening to music. She likes listening to rock and metal, but will listen to just about anything. After graduating, she would like to either continue into radio, or go into something like documentary production!
Program Manager
This year’s Program Manager is Taycee Zach! Taycee is majoring in Multimedia Journalism, and minoring in Radio-TV-Film. Her goals for this year are to draw in new listenership by adding new, interesting programming to our schedule, all while keeping the station true to its roots in jazz and alternative. Some of her hobbies include crate digging and collecting vinyl, creative writing, hosting on-air at WRST, painting, and having Spotify listening parties with friends. Taycee likes listening to old-school alternative, with shoegaze being her favorite subgenre! After graduating, she wants to start small and work her way up to satellite radio, getting a position as either on-air talent or a program director!
Digital Content Manager
This year’s Digital Content Manager is Brianna Hone! Brianna is majoring in Radio-TV-Film, and completing certificates in Digital Marketing and Advertising. Her goals for this year are to continue to learn the fundamentals of running a radio station, expand her skill set, and to just have some fun! Brianna enjoys playing board games and video games with friends, going antiquing, and listening to music! She likes listening to Indie, Pop Punk, Alternative, and Alternative Rock. After graduating, she wants to start small and work her way up to something bigger in the radio world either as on-air talent or a some sort of management position!
News Director
This year’s News Director is Jacob Link! Jacob is double majoring in Radio-TV-Film and Multimedia Journalism. His goals for this year is to build the station’s presence and get more students to listen to WRST. Some of his hobbies include playing on UWO’s football team and being the assistant news editor for the Advance-Titan! Jacob likes listening to alternative and rock, but also enjoys listening to a little bit of everything including rap and country. After graduating, he wants to pursue a career in sports broadcasting because athletics is a very big part of his life!
Sports Director
This year’s Sports Director is Deven Michalak! Deven is a senior majoring in Radio, TV, Film and minoring in Multimedia Journalism. He is a big sports guy, his favorite sports team being the Bucks, and also enjoys music like rap, alternative, soul, and reggae. Deven has big aspirations of being a broadcaster and WRST allows him the great experience of doing so. This year he’s looking forward to calling basketball games!
Production Director
This year’s Production Director is Dylan Eckhart! Dylan is majoring in Radio-TV-Film, minoring in Communications, and completing certificates in Sports Media and Digital Content. His goals for this year are to increase listenership and promotion for our larger events like Bye Gosh Fest, the Late Night Breakfast, and sporting events. Some of his hobbies include hunting, hiking, biking, playing drums, and hanging out with friends! Dylan likes listening to country and classic rock! After graduating, he wants to pursue a career in sports broadcasting/media!
