On November 13th UW-Oshkosh is hosting it’s annual Black and Gold Scholarship Ball. The event is returning after a pandemic-caused hiatus with the continued goal of raising funds for scholarships to help UWO Students. Run through the office of Advancement, part of university affairs, the event is being hosted by UWO Chancellor Andrew and Karen Leavitt with Oshkosh Corp being the presenting sponsor of the event and will be located at the Gibson Social Club in downtown Oshkosh. The Scholarship Ball is a black-tie event with tickets costing one hundred twenty-five dollars per person or one thousand five hundred dollars for a corporate table. The event, which is open to the public, includes cocktails, dinner, and entertainment and dancing, and aims to help support students in their financial ability to attend college. Ahead of the event, UW-Oshkosh will be running dance classes to bring attention to the Scholarship event.
