Operations manager
This year’s Operations Manager is Jacob Link. Jacob is double majoring in Radio-TV-Film and Multimedia Journalism. His goal for the year is to promote the radio station to get UWO students more involved in the station and to increase listenership among the student population. Some extra-curriculars include playing on UWO’s football team and being the Editor-in-Chief for the Advance-Titan! Jacob enjoys a variety of music but depending on the day listens to alternative, rock, rap, and indie. After graduating, he wants to pursue a career in sports broadcasting!
Operations assistant
This year’s Operations Assistant is Aedan Applegate. Aedan is majoring in Radio-TV-Film and minoring in music production. His goal this year is to better understand the different roles within the WRST program. Besides working at WRST, Aedan is a part of the badminton club and enjoys working out with his roommate. His favorite genres include rap and hip-hop, and his favorite artist is Trippie Red. Following college, Aedan wants to work in Foley sound or podcasting because he’s had so much fun working on the sports broadcasts with WRST.

This year’s Operations Assistant is Matthew Lange, previously known as the “Unpaid Intern” here at WRST. Matthew is majoring in Radio-TV-Film, with a Music Industry minor and a Broadcast Engineering certificate. His hobbies include playing video games like Fallout, Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077 and Ghost of Tsushima. He also enjoys listening to music and anything tech related. Out of his favorite genre of rock, the artists Matthew enjoys listening to are Van Halen, Steve Vai and Yngwie Malmsteen. This semester, he aspires to run an award-winning show and grow the popularity of his Rock/Metal show. After college, his career goals are to become a disc jockey and broadcast engineer.
Digital Content Manager
This year’s Digital Content Manager is Zachary Bellin. Zachary is majoring in Multimedia Journalism, minoring in Radio-TV-Film and pursuing certificates in Digital Content Creation, Media Literacy and Sports Media. His goal for this year is to continue growing as a multimedia journalist by applying skills learned in classes to his role at WRST and continue working as an editor at the Advance-Titan. Some of his hobbies include collecting sports cards, as well as watching movies and the Milwaukee Brewers. Zachary also loves traveling and spending time with friends. He listens to a variety of rock and pop music. After graduating, he would like to be a beat writer and columnist for a Major League Baseball team while contributing to his local newspaper.
News Director
This year’s News Director is Dylan Przybylski. Dylan is majoring in Radio-TV-Film with a minor in Communications. His goal for this year is to provide WRST listeners with a quality weekly news show highlighting things on campus and local news. His favorite genres of music are country and pop punk, and his favorite musicians/bands are Blink-182, Sabrina Carpenter, Charlie Puth and Midland. Dylan spends his free time playing sports like golf and basketball, playing video games, and listening to music. His goals after graduating from UW-Oshkosh at the end of the Spring 26′ semester are to become a sports reporter or a reporter for a local TV station.
Assistant News Director
This year’s Assistant News Director is Alex Wolf. Alex is majoring in Radio-TV-Film. He loves listening to rock music the most, with Queen being his favorite band. His hobbies consist of drumming, playing video games like Marvel Rivals and Overwatch, and building LEGO sets. His goal for this semester is to learn more about the fundamentals of being a journalist at WRST and within the Radio-TV-Film program. He doesn’t have a specific dream role, but he hopes to get into TV news, whether in reporting or multimedia journalism.
Sports Director
This year’s Sports Director is Brayden Junkers. Brayden is a Radio, TV, and Film major with a Multimedia Journalism minor and is pursuing a Sports Media certificate. His goals for this semester are to train people to produce sports broadcasts and to grow WRST’s listenership. Additionally, he hopes to attract more students interested in Radio, TV, and Film to enhance the radio station and broadcasting program, making it one of the best in the nation. In his spare time, he likes to work out, broadcast sports, and play sports with friends. Brayden’s favorite genres are country, classic rock, and pop. After graduation, he wants to continue broadcasting sports and dreams of being the lead play-by-play broadcaster for the Milwaukee Brewers and FOX Sports.
Sports Assistant
This year’s Sports Assistant is Justice Cyr. Justice is an RTF major pursuing two certifications in Multimedia Journalism and Coaching. His goals are to be involved with as many sports as possible and to help anyone in need. In his spare time, Justice enjoys sports, playing video games, listening to music, and most of all, spending time with his girlfriend. Justice’s favorite music genres are rap and rock, with Kendrick Lamar as his favorite artist. After graduation, he plans to broadcast games wherever opportunities arise, with the ultimate goal of joining and broadcasting for a sports team.
Production Director
This year’s Production Director is Brianna Hone. She is majoring in Radio-TV-Film, minoring in Music Industry, and earned a certificate in Advertising. Her goal from this semester at WRST is to keep the music fresh. She wants to introduce students and the WRST listeners to new artists they might not know! Her hobbies are reading, playing board games and video games, and collecting physical media! Her CD collection is over 100, and my DVD collection is slowly growing. Brianna’s favorite music genres are emo, alternative rock, and pop punk! My favorite band of all time is Fall Out Boy. She graduates next Spring! After graduating, she wants to work full-time in radio or do social media/promotions! Her ultimate dream is to eventually work for NPR!
