UW Oshkosh Today reports that full-time students in good standing within the UW system are eligible to receive the UW Credit Union scholarship. Their ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about the work they do within our community, especially people who are able to balance out priorities between school, work, family, and any other activities they may be involved in.
If you are someone who believes you have the power to make our community a better place, and if you value getting a higher education, you are encouraged to apply. Candidates will be chosen based on their school activities, and community involvement via volunteer work or community-based employment. Applications are being accepted until March 31st.
If you’re interested in applying, you’ll need to submit a resume highlighting your work experience, education, and community involvement. You’ll also need to submit your most recent transcript along with a response to three essay questions regarding your community involvement, how you impacted the community, and what you learned from it.
