Titan Thunder to end season with Kolf concert

The Titan Thunder Marching Band will end its season with a concert at Kolf. Miles Schmidt reporting with the latest.

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Titan Thunder Marching Band will play its first indoor concert on Dec. 3 at Kolf Sports Center under the direction of Dr. Joe Schievert.

Doors open at noon for the 1 p.m. concert—titled The Sound of Thunder— this will serve as a grand finale for the inaugural year of UW Oshkosh’s new marching band.

Tickets for the Titan Thunder performance alone are $10 adults, $5 for K-12 students and free for UWO students and children 5 and younger. Tickets are available at the door and are cash only.

The performance will include music the band has played during halftime shows throughout the football season and other student favorites.

The University’s pep band, the Bolt Band, also directed by Scheivert, will perform during the basketball game following the concert. The Bolt Band is in its second year and will continue to perform at home basketball games into next year.
